Description
Try a small sound-and-movement coordination challenge after Sounding Light: make one hand sound exactly when your partner's foot lands.
Cost: FreeBest time: Anytime
Play guide
- 1One person takes four slow steps on a clear floor. The partner makes a gentle palm tap exactly at each landing.
- 2Try again with an obvious pause between two steps. Both watch whether movement and sound still line up.
- 3Swap mover and sound-maker. Use seated hand landings on a table instead of steps when that is easier.
Success signals
Two people deliberately synchronise a real sound with a visible movement.
If it's tricky
Following steps is hard: the mover slowly touches the tabletop and the sound-maker taps their own palm at contact.
