Play guide
- 1Sit in a small circle, or face each other. Pass one clap around, one person at a time, at a comfortable steady speed.
- 2After a few rounds, replace every second clap with a thigh pat while keeping the same turn order.
- 3Try ten successful turns together. Let the child choose whether the next round is slower or a little quicker.

Family members take timed turns within a shared continuing pattern.
If it's tricky
There are only two players: alternate clap and pat between you; slow the gap until both can join.
