Play guide
- 1Put one large familiar object in a cloth bag: a wooden spoon, rolled sock or hairbrush. The guesser feels it without looking.
- 2Name a clue such as bristles, a long handle or soft folds, then make a guess and reveal the object.
- 3Swap who packs the bag. Try distinguishing two similarly shaped objects once the easy round is familiar.
Success signals
The child describes a felt feature and checks it against a revealed object.
If it's tricky
Reaching into the bag feels uncomfortable: let the child see the object through a small opening first.
