Play guide

1. 1Two players hook the four fingers of one hand together, thumbs up and free.
2. 2Chant "one, two, three, four, I declare a thumb war" while tapping thumbs side to side.
3. 3Each player tries to gently pin the other's thumb down and hold it for a slow count of three.
4. 4The winner of a match moves on to play the next family member in the ladder.
5. 5Keep matches short and gentle, and reshuffle whenever you like.
