Play guide
- 1Use one familiar line such as “Twinkle, twinkle, little star.” The child is the voice boss and calls robot, mouse or giant.
- 2The adult sings the same line in a comfortable version of that voice. The child can switch the voice once mid-line if they want.
- 3For a second round, the adult becomes voice boss and the child may sing or simply speak the line.
Success signals
The child controls a playful change in vocal quality and the parent gets an active turn too.

If singing feels awkward, speak the same short sentence instead.
