Play guide
- 1Choose one interesting object with detail to notice (a leaf, a shell, a small toy, a piece of fruit) and place it in front of your child.
- 2Invite them to look at it closely and quietly for about a minute, turning it over if they like. A magnifier can help if you have one.
- 3Keep the space calm and let the looking happen without filling the silence.
- 4When the minute is up, ask them to tell you everything they noticed, one thing at a time.
- 5Add anything you noticed too, then let them choose the next object if they want another round.
