Description
At one zoo stop, work together to spot an animal that is already eating and watch one real feeding action for a few moments.
Cost: FreeBest time: Morning, Afternoon
Play guide
- 1At an ordinary public viewing stop, look together for an animal that is already eating.
- 2When either person notices one, point it out and watch for one real action: chewing, picking up food or carrying it.
- 3At another planned stop, look for a different feeding action. Keep a shared list in your heads only while it stays fun.
Success signals
The family notices one or more real feeding behaviours together without racing to be first.
If it's tricky
If no animal is eating, enjoy the habitat and skip the activity rather than waiting.
