- 1Agree together when the capsule will be opened, such as in one year or on a future birthday, and find a container to keep it in.
- 2Each of you writes a short letter to your future self and jots down a few predictions about what might change by then.
- 3Add a few small keepsakes that capture this moment, such as a ticket, a drawing, a photo, or a note about a current favourite.
- 4Share only the parts each of you wants to read aloud, and let the rest stay private inside the capsule.
- 5Seal it, mark the open-on date clearly, and put it somewhere safe together.
