Before Young Speakers, play a tiny drawing challenge with and without one rule, then choose the version you would recommend.
What to prep

Play guide
- 1Both draw a simple house normally. Then draw another without lifting the pencil from the paper.
- 2Each choose which version was more enjoyable or clearer and point to one actual result that supports the choice.
- 3Agree a rule for a third house: one continuous line, or normal drawing with only five lines. Test it and see whether either opinion changes.

A reason is grounded in something the pair actually tried, and can change after a further test.
If it's tricky
Drawing is not appealing: write your first names with and without lifting the pencil instead.
