Description
Your child and another family member lay out their usual chores and work out a swap that both sides agree feels fair, talking through the trade as they go.

Cost: FreeBest time: Anytime
Play guide
- 1Write or draw the everyday chores each person has on separate small cards or slips.
- 2Lay all the cards out so your child can see the two sets side by side.
- 3Invite your child to propose a swap, such as trading one chore they dislike for one they mind less.
- 4Take turns making offers and counter-offers, and let your child hear you reason out loud about why a trade feels fair or lopsided.
- 5Settle on a swap you both agree to, and try it for a day or two before deciding whether to keep it.
