Play guide
- 1Set a timer you can watch quietly, and explain that your child will guess when one whole minute has passed.
- 2Ask your child to close their eyes or look away and stay still while they count the time in their head however they like.
- 3Start the timer and wait without giving hints, letting them raise a hand when they think a minute is up.
- 4Tell them the real time on the timer and talk about whether their guess was early, late, or close.
- 5Try a few more rounds and let them notice whether counting in their head or just feeling it works better for them.
