Description
After Kids Space, turn one scarf or small towel into three simple stage props: a cape, a tail and a picnic cloth.
What to prep

Play guide
- 1Put one scarf or small towel on the floor or hold it safely in your hands. Make it a cape, a tail beside the body, then a picnic cloth on the floor.
- 2The child chooses the order for the adult to perform, then the adult calls the three jobs for the child.
- 3Add one more safe prop use only if the child has an immediate idea; otherwise keep replaying the three supplied ones.
Success signals
The child changes one real object for several clear pretend uses and gets to direct the adult as well as participate.
If it's tricky
Wearing the scarf is uncomfortable: keep every version on the floor or in the hands and use it as a flag, river and blanket instead.
